​​I have been an artist all of my life. Much longer than I've considered myself a writer. I remember drawing cartoons and adding words to them at a very young age. As I grew older, I found myself more and more attracted to the world of art. In high school, I filled my electives with any art class I could take. I've sculpted, wood-worked and glass-etched, but my passion lies in painting and drawing. Just as in my writing, I love the theme of the human experience. I focus on portraits of people and bring the spirit of the individual within my work. I do this by employing various art techniques such as pointillism and incorporating different materials like sand or tissue paper.
